    Requirements for 80G and 12A Registrations

    • The NGO must not have any income which is not exempted, such as a company income.
    • The Bye-laws/Objectives of the NGO’s must not contain any provision for investing the income or assets of the NGO for non-charitable activities
    • The NGO should not be working for the advantages of a particular caste or community
    • The NGO must have maintained their routine accounts for its expenditures & receipts
    • The NGO should appropriately be registered under relevant law viz. trust, society, company etc.

     

    Documents Required For 12A and 80G Registrations

    • Duly Filled in form – 10G
    • Trust Deed / MOA/AOA A of the Section 8 Company.
    • Summary of welfare activitiescarried out in the preceding 3 years.
    • Balance sheet and Books of accounts: for the preceding 3 years.
    • List of Governing board of trustees members:with their contact details
    • Original Registration Certificate of the NGO.
    • KYC Documents of Directors/ Trustees/ Governing Council Members
    • List of Donors:along with their address and PAN card id required
