Section 8 Company Registration

NGO or Non-Government Organization or Section 8 Company is formed mainly for Pro Bono activities. There are 3 ways of registering a NGO viz. 1- Sections 8 of Companies Act: Has highest legal sanctity though compliances are the highest.2- Society: Compliances are relaxed compared to Section 8 NGO. Eg Amul, the biggest society in India. 3- Trust: Compliances are relaxed compared to Section 8 NGO. Normally schools etc. are formed as Trust in India.

NGO registration can be done through MaxBusiness in Delhi, NCR and all other Indian cities. The cost of Section 8 company starts from Rs. 14,000/- and for society starts from Rs 10,000/- onwards. The cost for registering a Trust costs Rs 10,000/- onwards.

For Directors

• PAN Card or Passport (Foreign Nationals & NRIs)
• Aadhar/Voter’s ID/Passport/Driver’s License
• Passport Size Photograph

For Registered Office

• Latest Bank Statement/Telephone/Mobile/Electricity /Gas/Water Bill
• Copy of Rent agreement (If rented property)
• Copy of Property papers (If owned property)
• Landlord NOC (Format will be provided)
• Your registered office need not be a commercial space; it can be your residence, too.
