NGO or Non-Government Organization or Section 8 Company is formed mainly for Pro Bono activities. There are 3 ways of registering a NGO viz. 1- Sections 8 of Companies Act: Has highest legal sanctity though compliances are the highest.2- Society: Compliances are relaxed compared to Section 8 NGO. Eg Amul, the biggest society in India. 3- Trust: Compliances are relaxed compared to Section 8 NGO. Normally schools etc. are formed as Trust in India.
NGO registration can be done through MaxBusiness in Delhi, NCR and all other Indian cities. The cost of Section 8 company starts from Rs. 14,000/- and for society starts from Rs 10,000/- onwards. The cost for registering a Trust costs Rs 10,000/- onwards.
